Role Overview

Seeking a senior full-stack engineer to own complex technical projects from architecture through delivery, collaborating with a tech lead in a remote, asynchronous environment. The role focuses on hands-on coding and system design rather than people management, suitable for professionals who thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced settings.

Key Responsibilities

Develop core features for advisor and investor portal experiences.
Implement financial data integrations with various custodial partners.
Manage serverless backend services using distributed Lambda and PostgreSQL.
Maintain and enhance an AI-driven financial planning layer, focusing on architecture and large language model integration.
Standardize CI/CD pipelines across multiple repositories in partnership with the existing tech lead.
Ensure code quality, system observability, security practices, and disciplined release processes across the technology stack.

Requirements

10 to 15 years of production-quality full-stack engineering experience.
Expertise in Python including frameworks like FastAPI and SQLAlchemy, with strong skills in TypeScript and React.
Extensive AWS serverless experience including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CDK, and Cognito.
Background in wealthtech, fintech, or regulated financial services is mandatory.
Experience defining and standardizing CI/CD pipelines across numerous repositories.
Familiarity with SOC 2 Type II compliance or equivalent standards.
Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain is highly desirable.
Strong asynchronous written communication skills with experience leading distributed offshore teams.

Compensation and Location

Fully remote within the United States, offering a salary commensurate with experience and a meaningful early-stage equity package.
