Role Overview

This senior engineering role involves taking full ownership of complex technical projects from architecture through to delivery. The candidate will collaborate closely with another tech lead, working hands-on across the full technology stack and making critical technical decisions in a remote, asynchronous environment.

Responsibilities

Develop core features for advisor and investor portal experiences.
Integrate financial data sources and custodial partners.
Build and maintain serverless backend services using distributed Lambda functions and PostgreSQL databases.
Design and enhance the agentic AI financial planning layer including architecture and LLM integration.
Standardize CI/CD pipelines across numerous repositories together with the existing tech lead.
Maintain code quality, observability, security standards, and release discipline across the stack.

Requirements

10 to 15 years of full-stack software engineering experience delivering production-quality software.
Expertise in Python (including frameworks like FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and async programming patterns), with strong skills in TypeScript and React.
Extensive experience with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CDK, and Cognito.
Background in wealth technology, financial technology, or regulated financial services.
Experience creating and standardizing CI/CD pipelines across many repositories.
Knowledge of SOC 2 Type II or related compliance practices.
Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks like LangGraph or LangChain is a plus.
Strong written communication skills suited for leading distributed, offshore teams asynchronously.

Compensation and Location

This is a fully remote position in the United States offering a salary and meaningful equity package commensurate with experience.
