Role Overview

This senior engineering position involves overseeing complex technical projects from initial architecture to delivery within a fully remote, distributed team. The role is hands-on with a focus on writing code and system design rather than team management.

Responsibilities

Develop core product features for advisor and investor portals
Integrate financial data systems with various partners
Build and maintain serverless backend services using distributed Lambda functions and PostgreSQL
Design and support AI-powered financial planning architecture and LLM integration
Standardize CI/CD pipelines across multiple code repositories
Ensure code quality, security hygiene, observability, and release discipline across the stack

Requirements

10 to 15 years of full-stack engineering experience delivering production-quality projects
Expertise in Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, async programming) and strong skills in TypeScript and React
Deep experience with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CDK, and Cognito
Background in wealth technology, financial technology, or regulated financial services is required
Experience creating and standardizing CI/CD pipelines across multiple repositories
Compliance-related experience such as SOC 2 Type II is expected
Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks like LangGraph or LangChain is a plus
Strong asynchronous written communication and ability to lead a globally distributed offshore team
